About

Zach Manifest: Born August 4th, 1990, in Niskayuna NY. Grew up moving around a lot between my mother and father. Finally settled with my father at around 10 or 11. Dropped out at 17 and got my GED. I was introduced to music by my Uncle Mark who plays drums. I would have to say I was around 3 or 4 is my earliest memory of trying sneak in his room and listen. Ever since music has always been my love. From Elvis to Michael Jackson to Slayer, Typo Negative, Alice in Chains, I was never one to just choose one genre. Slayer from my dad especially who was a metal head in the 80s. I remember as a kid seeing all his ticket stubs and him telling me about shows. My mother was also in the scene but not as heavy, she also played piano which is where I think I get my musicianship from, my grampa Byron her dad also plays 12 string acoustic (folk type music). Which of whom I didnt get to meet till my late 20s. Also living in a small Intercity of Troy, NY I was introduced to hip hop. Which I gravitated to in my teen years till my early 20s. I made an EP and have done numerous songs and collaborations with other people. Louie Stylez was my music partner and huge influence for my craft at the time. In my late 20s till now I've gravitated towards heavier music cause I just wanted to get back my childhood. Hip hop just doesn't release emotions for me like it used to. Have always loved and listened to metal and grunge music throughout my life so it just feels natural. Doomsday Manifesto is my first ever band I've been apart of, they gave me a chance and now I'm in it for the long haul with them. Salute to all my fellow metalheads out there. There's a lot more to come from us.
